The London and Area Food Bank has been helping people since 1986 and has provided emergency food to an average of 5600 families a month (or 13,000 individuals) this year alone! And of all those people who the Food Bank helps, 39% are children and youth under the age of 17.
Donations to the London and Area Food Bank assist people throughout the community. The Food Bank helps support the work done by 30 other social agencies, including school breakfast programs, the Memorial Boys and Girls Supper Club, the Youth Action Centre and Glen Cairn Resource Centre’s drop-in programs, and programs such as the Unity Project, Mission Services, Anova, and the Women’s Community House.
Please register or donate this year to help Business Cares and the London and Area Food Bank feed even more children and families this winter.
Taking Care of Business Means Taking Care of People
The need is real and it’s growing. During the leanest times, London’s business community has consistently showed the depth of its compassion. We are calling on you again to lend whatever support you feel comfortable in sharing. Learn how you can donate to the cause.
