The final curtain has fallen on the Grand Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol, and with it comes the end of its #HumbugtoHunger campaign. And, like the post-epiphany version of Ebenezer Scrooge, Londoners have opened up their hearts and wallets to their fellow citizens contributing an incredible $133,169 during the show's run.

This was The Grand Theatre's inaugural campaign in support of the London Food Bank and, on behalf of the entire Business Cares Food Drive committee, the London Food Bank, and its supporters, we want to thank London for their dedication and generosity.

This morning, the Business Cares Food Drive, in support of the London Food Bank, kicked off in Grand style at Western University's London Hall.

The students from The Grand Theatre's High School Project production of Evita kicked off the festivities by singing their own version of the 12 Days of Christmas, which was followed by speeches by campaign chair Wayne Dunn and other guests. The kickoff ended with two teams of students (captained by Dunn and Glen Pearson) competing to gather the most food whilst singing Walking in a Winter Wonderland.
